Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS)

The University Research Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) is a non-profit Academic Research Institute, established in 1989 by the Ministry of Education to conduct research and development activities in all areas of computer, telecommunications and computer systems. and in their application in a range of fields, such as Transceivers, Radar and generally Electromagnetic Sensors, Satellite and Wireless Communication, Electromagnetic Phenomena Modeling, Neural Networks, Software and Hardware Engineering, Multiplexing Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Energy, Renewable Energy Sources as well as Departmental Production and Management Systems. The staff of ICCS consists of research scientists and more than 500 assistant scientists (including PhD candidates). The research carried out at ICCS is also supported by tangible professors of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
